FREQUENTLY ASKED QUSTIONS
Does the SF-06S meet ANSI requirements?
The assessed SF-06S samples met the mechanical performance requirements of ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2014 Type I Class C for flammability, force transmission and apex penetration. Test documentation can be provided for buyer review.
What does ANSI Type I mean?
Type I hard hats are designed primarily to reduce impact force to the top of the head. The SF-06S should not be presented as a Type II helmet for lateral-impact protection.
Does Class C provide electrical protection?
No. Class C helmets are not designed or tested to provide electrical insulation. Choose an appropriately tested Class G or Class E helmet when electrical hazards are present.
Is the SF-06S suitable for hot work environments?
The vented shell improves airflow and helps reduce heat buildup during routine industrial work. However, ventilation openings mean the helmet should not be selected where electrical insulation is required.
Can the color and logo be customized?
Yes. OEM/ODM options include shell colors, logo printing, suspension components, chin straps and packaging. Custom colors should be reviewed against the required testing and compliance documentation for the target market.
Can the SF-06S be used for work at height?
The SF-06S is designed for ANSI Type I industrial top-impact protection—not climbing. For rope access or work-at-height applications requiring EN 12492 performance, choose the SF-06S-02 with multi-directional impact protection and a secure multi-point retention system.
