FREQUENTLY ASKED QUSTIONS
What are the SF-12 shell material and size range?
The manufacturer lists an ABS shell and a 53–63 cm head-size range. Confirm the size and suspension on the final approved sample.
What does the rear reflective detail do?
It reflects light directed at the helmet and can make the wearer easier to notice in low-light areas. It does not replace certified high-visibility clothing, lighting or traffic controls.
Is the SF-12 suitable for electrical hazards?
The manufacturer lists an ANSI Type I, Class C configuration. Class C does not provide electrical protection. Tell HBC your electrical requirements so an appropriately rated helmet can be reviewed.
What should I check for the EN 397 and −30°C claims?
Request the current SF-12 certificate, any supporting low-temperature test evidence, the finished helmet markings and the applicable instructions. Confirm they cover the shell, suspension and color supplied for your order.
Can I request other colors or branding?
The manufacturer lists several shell colors and decorative finishes. Send HBC your color reference, artwork, quantity and destination market so availability and documentation can be checked before quotation.
Can the SF-12 be supplied with both a face shield and earmuffs?
Ask HBC to verify the SF-12 slot dimensions, correct adapters, physical clearance and simultaneous use of the chosen face shield and earmuffs. Request a price for the specified helmet and accessory kit. Confirm each component’s protective rating and documents; do not drill or alter the helmet shell.
